Who Is This Dr. Todd Fellow?
Hello and thanks for taking a few moments to check into what I’m all about. My name is Todd Thomas and my work is in the areas of human behavior, communication and leadership. Almost 90% of my consulting is done at the executive level, sometimes for their sake, sometimes for the sake of the leaders and managers in their organization. Over the last few years a lot of this work has been focused on organizations involved in a change process. My academic background (college professor) along with my corporate experience (Fortune 100 executive) provides a unique lens to view people and organizations who are trying to make change with impact.
I do what I do because I love doing it. Of course I charge a few pennies here and there and if you look around the website you might find a product or two, but this is only because (a) mama and the kids like to eat and (b) I need to fund my hobby somehow. Whether I am speaking to 50 or 5000, I have a passion for leadership and what it can do to positively influence the lives of others.
Over the last 15 years I have worked with over 3000 leaders in well over 20 countries on issues of significance. THAT is actually the primary question I ask for any engagement…speaking, seminar or consulting. “Can my role create something significant?” If the answer is no, I’ll try to help others find the right avenue, but if I can leave feeling like I’ve contributed to the overall well-being of the company or the coaching client, I am a happy man.
I am the author of several books including “High-Impact Meetings: A Guide to Greater Productivity” and “The Leadership Integrity Quotient” and “Face the Fear: Overcoming Public Speaking Anxiety.” I am also President of “IMPACT Consulting and Development, LLC” which was founded in 2006 as a platform for my consulting and speaking and a faculty member of the DeVos Graduate School of Management at Northwood University where I am responsible for the Masters-level Leadership curriculum design, development and delivery. I teach additional classes for Central Michigan University and Indiana Wesleyan University as an online instructor.
Ok, so this page went on for another six paragraphs before I realized that I wasn’t writing my autobiography here.
