Les Brown is one of the most fascinating people I have ever met. I had the opportunity to work with him on a number of occasions and became a part of his network of Platinum Speakers. We have been all over the place and spoken to some very diverse and interesting audiences about motivation and leadership. The last time I spoke alongside Les was in the UK to a group of people dedicated to entrepreneurship and making a better society. I haven't seen him in awhile which is unfortunate, but as long as their is a stage, some lights and a microphone, he has something to say that will change your life.
This interview was conducted in a hotel room near the airport in Detroit as it is almost impossible to catch Les with a few minutes to spare. At the time we had this discussion, I was working with a group of people that were under a great deal of stress and angst about the future. This video became an integral part of an ongoing workshop to improve leadership skills and morale. For those who had never had exposure to Les Brown before, it was a memorable occasion.
